Every vehicle on UK roads must have an annual MOT test once it is 3 years old, and we carry out Class 1, 2 & 4 MOT testing, which includes most cars and light commercial vehicles, including classics (with up to 8 passenger seats), motorhomes and campervans, motorbikes, and mopeds. The horn must be suitable for the vehicle and work correctly.
The minimum number of mirrors for the vehicle must be met. They must be clean, in good condition, and fixed securely to the vehicle. Indirect vision devices are also inspected.
Your registration plate must be clean, readable, and fixed appropriately and securely.
All seats must be present, and securely fitted, and the seat backs must be able to be fixed in an upright position and adjusted to suit different drivers.
All seatbelts must be present and suitable for the vehicle. They must be in good, working, condition and attached securely.

Any towbar must be securely and properly attached. The electrical socket must be fully operational.
All tyres and wheels, including any spares, are examined for condition, tread depth, appropriate sizing, and that they are attached to the vehicle properly.

Windscreen wipers will be checked to make sure they work properly and the blades clean the windscreen effectively. The washer reservoir must have fluid in it and have an unobstructed route to the windscreen.
