CIC Autos MOT Centre Ltd is a popular family-run, independent garage in Gateshead where we carry out dealer-level BMW 4 series servicing with the additional benefits of more personal, friendly customer service and significantly lower prices. We have a large, well-equipped workshop on Jedburgh Court in Team Valley, Gateshead and a team of experienced, skilled mechanics who are committed to providing quality workmanship with attention to detail, and unbeatable customer service.
We also have Interim, Full and Major Service levels available which we’d recommend alternating between every 12, 24 and 36 months but of course, that may vary if you have a markedly higher or lower than average annual mileage. All service parts and labour are guaranteed for 12 months/12,000 miles.
Interim
Service Includes:

Full
Service Includes:
- Everything in an Interim Service
- Air Filter
- All visible brake pipes and hoses
- Auxiliary drive belts (NOT timing belt) condition and tension
- Brake callipers for leaks and security
- Brake fluid condition and advise if replacement needed (extra cost)
- Check drive shaft gaiters for security and report leaks
- Exhaust smoke (diesel)
- External and internal mirror condition
- Fuel system and tank (if visible)
- Hand brake operation
- Number plate condition
- Pollen filter condition and advise if replacement needed (extra cost)
- Radiator and coolant hoses condition and leaks (including header tank)
- Road springs
- Seat belt operation
- Shock absorber condition
- Steering/suspension components
- Visual check of brake discs for wear
- Wheel bearings
- Windscreen for cracks and chips
Major
Service Includes:
- Everything in a Full Service
- Fuel filter (if fitted externally, if not replace pollen filter)
- Air conditioning system operation
- Change spark plugs dependant upon age and mileage (petrol vehicles only; extra cost)
- Clutch operation
- Door, bonnet and lock operation
- Electrical coolant fan (if applicable)
- Radiator cap
